Subject: BHV 70th: Concert on the Beach - Updated Information
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to provide you with details regarding the 70th
Anniversary concert, party, and fireworks display taking place on Saturday, December 10,
2016. As you know, this event will conclude the Village's season of celebrating its platinum
anniversary.
Activities begin at 6:30 pm on the beach near the jetty (behind the Ritz -Carlton Bal
Harbour). The event will commence with a VIP reception, exclusive to Village residents and
their guests as well as Bal Harbour hotel guests, and will include drink stations (wine,
champagne, sodas, etc.), Kosher food stations, as well as a food station provided courtesy
of the Grill at Bal Harbour. This will be followed by a performance by the Palm Beach
Symphony and a dance party featuring Carlos Oliva and Los Sobrinos del Juez. Finally, the
event will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display over the beach.
Bal Harbour resident and news personality, Lisa Petrillo, will serve as the Master of
Ceremonies (MC) for the event. The Mayor and Council will be introduced at this event
with the Mayor, Council and Manager saying a few words. Attached is the run of show
which highlights the schedule for the evening.
Attached are the wrist bands for you and your guests. Please make sure to bring these
with you to the event. With these wrist bands you will not need to check in and will be
able to access the VIP area directly. Seating in the first row will be reserved for each of you
and your parties.

VIP Reception to include Champagne, Drinks
and Savory Food Stations (Exclusive to Bal Harbour
Residents and Hotel Guests).
The VIP area is exclusive for Bal Harbour
Residents and Hotel Guests. Please make
sure to bring a photo ID with your Bal
Harbour address for entrance for you and
your guests. The entrance to the VIP section
is located just off the beach path behind the
Ritz -Carlton Bal Harbour. Follow the lights to
the entrance and check -in at the registration
table to access the event.
7:30 p.m. We encourage you to walk, Uber or take the
Palm Beach Symphony Performance followed by a dance Bal Harbour Shuttle that will run along Collins
party with Carlos Oliva and Los Sobrinos del Juez. Avenue from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m with a special
drop-off / pick-up at the Jetty.
