Gonzalez, Village Manager 1� Date: December 28, 2016 Subject: Proposal from Whitman Family Develo ment for Acquiring Village Hall The purpose of this Letter to Council is to advise you of the attached letter from Whitman Family Development, which was recently received. As you will recall, during the Public Comment period at our December Council Meeting Mr. Lazenby announced his proposal to acquire Village Hall through a purchase and sale transaction. The attached letter is a formal offer from Whitman Family Development. I will review this proposal and determine the appropriate next steps. In the meantime, should you wish to discuss this matter with me or require additional information please do not hesitate to contact me directly. As consideration for this proposed purchase and sale, we offer $15,600,000 (intended to cover the costs of building a new village hall, inclusive of underground parking) and EITHER the SunTrust Site OR the Fairfield Site, as the Village deems in its best interests. We respectfully ask that this matter be considered at the January council meeting where, if the council so approves, the matter can be finally decided by the Village residents through referendum. Please let us know what might be further required of us.
