Subject: Installation of Village -wide Informational Signage
The purpose of this Letterto Council (LTC) is to inform you thatthe first phase of the village -
wide informational signage installation has begun throughout the beach and jetty. The
installation will continue until all signage is completed. All old signage along the beach
will also be coming down as the new signs are installed. The design, creation and
installation of this signage was approved by the Village Council by Resolution at the
October 31, 2016 Council meeting.
The signs currently being installed include the following:
• Beach Welcome/Rules
• Jogging/Walking/Bicycle path
• Bicycle Path Rules
• Rip Current Warning
• Beach Warning Flags
• Swim At Your Own Risk
• No Fishing Along Wall (near Jetty)
• Address Signs for the rear of all Residential Buildings (on the beach path)
The installation of the new signage and the removal of the old signs is being done on days
and times that are the least impactful to our residents and guests on the beach.
