HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrdinance 71-321ORDINANCE NO. 71 -321 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY REPEALING SECTION 9390 (56) AND ADDING SECTION 9202 (36A) TO THE TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS FOR RESTAURANTS AND SIMILAR ESTABLISHMENTS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN: SECTION 1. Section 9390 (56) of the Temple City Municipal Code is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Section 9202 (36A) is hereby added to the Temple City Municipal Code to read as follows: 36A Restaurants - All places of business: 1) Serving prepared foods for immediate consumption and with an indoor seating capacity of less than 150 places; 2) Serving alcoholic beverages and located within 2.00 feet of a residential zone; or, 3) Providing live entertainment. SECTION 3. The City. Clerk of the City of Temple City shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance and to its approval by the Mayor, and shall cause the same to be published in the Temple City. Times, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of Temple City APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of May, 1971.
