AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING
THE ACCEPTANCE AND APPROPRIATION OF
COMMUNITY FOCUS FUND GRANT MONEY
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 46-1995 authorized the Mayor of the City of
Richmond to prepare and submit a grant application to the Indiana
Department of Commerce (IDOL) for the remodeling of the Townsend
Community Center located at 855 North 12th Street, Richmond, Indiana;
and
WHEREAS, said grant application was prepared and submitted; and
WHEREAS, said grant in the amount of $500,000 was awarded and notice of
release of funds and authorization to incur costs was received from IDOC
on September 23, 1996.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, that Community Focus Fund Grant No. CF-95-217 in the amount of
$500,000 is hereby accepted and appropriated to Fund 225, IDOC Program.
