A SPECIAL ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A
RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMIT AREA
WHEREAS, City of Richmond Code Section 74.28 provides for the establishment of
Residential Parking Permit Areas; and
WHEREAS, the residents of a certain area have requested the establishment of a
Residential Parking Permit Area; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C. 74.28, a hearing regarding this request was held by the
City of Richmond Board of Public Works and Safety on November 21,
1996; and
WHEREAS, on November 22, 1996, the Board of Public Works and Safety forwarded
to Common Council its written recommendation that said request be
approved.
NOW, TBEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, that, pursuant to R.C. 74.28, a Residential Parking Permit Area is
hereby created between the north property line of the house at 431 Southwest 3rd Street
along both sides of Southwest 3rd Street south to the intersection of Southwest "E" Street.
