The pur- pose of this district is o preserve the City's ecological resources, wildlife corridors, sc: nic views, and rural character. A property owner may request tr subdivide and developer their . operty fol- lowing the CD-PUD egulations as an alternative to t e standard underlying zoning district. The CD-PUD offers flexib lity to cer- tain zoning requireme is in order to making it possible f• r the devel- oper to place a por ion of the property into a perm: nent con- servation easement. The ordi- nance allows the City to offer in- creased density and educe the following requirement.: lot size, setbacks, upland b ffers, tree preservation, and landscaping requirements.
