AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
RICHMOND TO RECEIVE PAYMENTS FOR SERVICES TO BE RENDERED TO
THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION IN 1997
WHEREAS, Indiana Code 36-10-3-3 provides for the creation of a Department of Parks and
Recreation governed by a Parks and Recreation Board; and
WHEREAS, Richmond Code 31.03(e) established said Department as an executive department
of the City; and
WHEREAS, Indiana Code 36-10-3-11 provides that the Parks and Recreation Board has the
power to contract for special services and professional assistance; and
WHEREAS, the other executive departments of the City of Richmond provide services to the
Department of Parks and Recreation.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the following payments be made by the Department of Parks and Recreation to the
City General Fund during 1997 for financial, accounting, legal and technical services, to wit:
1. Twenty percent of the following fees:
