LETTER TO COUNCIL

Mayor Gabriel Groisman and Members of the Village Council
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to provide you with details regarding the 70th
Anniversary concert, party, and fireworks display taking place on Sunday, February 12,
2017 to conclude the Village's celebration of its platinum anniversary. Activities begin at
5:30 p.m. on the beach near the jetty behind the Ritz -Carlton Bal Harbour.
The event will commence with a VIP reception, exclusive to Village residents and their
guests as well as Bal Harbour hotel guests, and will include drink stations (wine,
champagne, sodas, etc.), food stations including a Kosher station, as well as a food station
provided courtesy of the Grill at Bal Harbour. This will be followed by a performance by
the Palm Beach Symphony and a dance party featuring the Latin jazz band Carlos Oliva,
Los Sobrinos del Juez, and the New Century Dancers. Finally, the event will conclude with
a spectacular fireworks display over the beach. Bal Harbour resident and news personality,
Lisa Petrillo, will serve as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) for the event. The Mayor and
Council will be introduced at this event with each of you being able to say a few words.
Attached is the run of show which highlights the schedule for the evening.
As of close of business today, we have received approximately 650 RSVPs for this event.
We will continue our efforts to notice this event so that all in our community are aware of it
and also plan accordingly for the event itself.
You have already received your wrist bands for you and your guests. Please make sure to
bring these with you to the event. With these wrist bands you will not need to check in and
will be able to access the VIP area directly. Seating in the first row will be reserved for each
of you and your parties. If you have any questions or need any additional information,

6:30 to 7:10 PM Palm Beach Symphony performs
7:10 PM Lisa Petrillo introduces Mayor and Village Council
(Meanwhile: Stage Team strikes the orchestra chairs and resets the stage)
7:10 to 7:30 PM Welcome by Mayor Groisman, Assistant Mayor Salver and Village Council Members
7:30 PM Lisa Petrillo introduces:
Latin Jazz Band featuring Carlos Oliva, Los Sobrinos del Juez
and the New Century Dancers
8:30 PM Lisa Petrillo returns / thank you & Intro Fireworks and DJ Tricia Dade

NEAR THE JETTY (BEHIND THE RITZ-CARLTON
BAL HARBOUR)

and Savory Food Stations (Exclusive to Bal Harbour
Residents and Hotel Guests).
6:30 p.m.
Palm Beach Symphony Performance followed by a dance
party with Carlos Oliva and Los Sobrinos del Juez.
8:30 p.m.
Spectacular Fireworks Display over Bal Harbour Beach
followed by music and dancing.
The VIP area is exclusive for Bal Harbour Residents
and Hotel Guests. Please make sure to bring
a photo ID with your Bal Harbour address for
entrance for you and your guests. The entrance
to the VIP section is located just off the beach
path behind the Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour. Follow
the lights to the entrance and check-in at the
registration table to access the event.
We encourage you to walk, Uber or take the Bal
Harbour Shuttle that will run along Collins Avenue
from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m with a special drop-off / pick-
up at the Jetty.
