A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE,
FLORIDA; COMMENDING WINN-DIXIE FOR THEIR
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND PARTICIPATION;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, improved communication with the residents of the
Village is a goal of the Village Council; and
WHEREAS, it is the Village Council's desire to maximize public
participation at meetings; and
WHEREAS, Winn -Dixie has provided space to the Village for the
placement of a bulletin board in a highly visible location; and
WHEREAS, posted on this bulletin board will be public notices,
announcements and event schedules which will heighten public
knowledge of Village activities and, as a result, enhance community
involvement and participation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF KEY
BISCAYNE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Village Council commends Winn -Dixie and
Location Manager Robert Iglesias for their community involvement and
participation by providing space for a highly visible bulletin board
that will serve as an information center of Village activities for
residents.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
adoption.
