Home My Public Portal About036-1995 - DONATION - ABRAM PHILLIPS TRUST- HUMAN SERVICES DIVIORDINANCE NO. 36-1995 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF RICHMOND TO RECEIVE DONATIONS WHEREAS the City of Richmond, Indiana, has the option of accepting or rejecting donations for a specific purpose, and WHEREAS the acceptance of a donation for a specific purpose constitutes the appropriation of such property for the intended purpose, NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the following donations are hereby accepted with the heart -felt gratitude of the citizens of Richmond: A. The Abram Phillips Trust, a donation of $3,000.00 to the Human Services Division of the Mayor's Office for taxi service for senior citizens. B. The Noon Kiwanis Club of Richmond, a donation of $1,000.00 for street trees to be purchased and planted by the Street Tree Commission. C. Bardemay & Associates, Inc., a donation of $50.00 to the Parks and Recreation Department's 1995 scholarship program. D.
