A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE AWARD OF CONTRACT TO BUCKNAM INFRASTRUCTURE GROUP, INC.
FOR THE SIDEWALK ASSESSMENT PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $54,820; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE ADDITIONAL
SERVICES UP TO 15 PERCENT OF THE CONTRACT PRICE; AND TO AUTHORIZE
APPROPRIATION FROM MEASURE R (FUND 2352) OR OTHER ELIGIBLE METRO
TRANSPORTATION FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $63,043 FOR THIS PROJECT
WHEREAS, in January 2019, staff issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to request
proposals from qualified firms to provide a city wide sidewalk repair assessment; and
WHEREAS, the City received proposals from the following firms: Arc Engineers,
Inc, Bucknam Infrastructure Group, Inc. and Willdan Engineering in response to the
RFP; and
WHEREAS, after review of the proposals, staff selected Bucknam Infrastructure
Group, Inc. as the firm that can best meet the City's needs.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute the contract
attached hereto as Exhibit A with Bucknam Infrastructure Group in a cost not to exceed
$54,820 in a form approved by the City Attorney.
Section 2. That the City Attorney can consider, but not necessarily accept,
exceptions to the Agreement that may be presented by Bucknam Infrastructure Group.
Section 3. That the City Council authorizes the City Manager to approve
additional services for a price not to exceed 15 percent of the contract price.
Section 4. That the City Council approves the following appropriation:

Section 5. That the City Council authorizes the City Manager or his designee to
use alternate Metro Transportation funds that may be approved by Metro in place of
Measure R.
Section 6. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
