Home My Public Portal About047-1995 - APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1995 BUDGET - MORDINANCE NO. 47-1995 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1995 BUDGET WHEREAS Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, adopted a budget for calendar year 1995, and WHEREAS Common Council has determined it is necessary to transfer money from one major budget classification to anther within a department or office, and WHEREAS the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1, and WHEREAS this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and without the approval of the State Board of Tax Commissioners, NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the 1995 budget be amended as follows: A. General Fund - Mayor's Office i. Delete $375.00 from Computer Services & Charges Existing account no. 101-1-1-101-3-3170 2. Add $346.50 to Temporary Help New account no. 101-1-1-101-1-1197 3. Add $22.50 to Social Security Existing account no. 101-1-1-101-1-1220 4. Add $6.00 to Medical Insurance Existing account no. 101-1-1-101-1-1222 B. General Fund - De artment of Public Works 1. Delete $1,000.00 from Tree Farm Supplies Existing account no. 101-1-13-1301-2-2510 2. MILLIGAN City Attorney This ordinance transfers $375.00 from the Mayor's Computer Services account to the appropriate salary and employer expense accounts to hire temporary vacation help for the Human Services Division in the Mayor's Office. This ordinance also transfers $1,000 in the Department of Public Works budget from Tree Farm Supplies to Street Trees to enable the Street Tree Commission to purchase plant material.
