Special Licenses • ACEC 47 Nichols Ave Approved 3-0 One Day All Alcohol License/ Music & Dinner June 23, 2018 Liana Perl appeared in support of the application. The event has been held for the past few years, on the third Saturday in June. It is a 21 years of age and over event, and no tickets will be sold at the door. A local restaurant will serve as the caterer. The Police Department reported that it had no objection to the granting of the license requested, subject to the conditions in the department's written report. The Board acknowledged receipt of reports from the Building, Fire, and Health Departments, and voted to grant the license, subject to the conditions requested by the Police, Building, Fire, and Health Departments. • Taxiarchae Hellenic Cultural Center 25 Bigelow Ave Approved 3-0 One Day All Alcohol License/ Cultural Event July 7, 2018 Irene Apostolou Cobb appeared in support of the application. She noted that she is also one of the approved alcohol servers for the event. This will be a family oriented, cultural event for the Tibetan association of Boston, in celebration of the Dalai Lama's birthday. The day -long event begins in the morning, but the bar will not open until 6:00 p.m. Purchasers at the bar will be asked for identification. The food will be on a pot luck basis; there is no designated caterer. The Police Department reported that it had no objection to the granting of the license requested, subject to the conditions in the department's written report. Tatiana Klimova d/b/a Mixstirs 74 Beach Street, Unit 6-1 Woburn, MA 01801 Common Victualer License Independent Z, Inc. d/b/a East Coast Gas 354 Arsenal Street Watertown, MA 02472 Approved 3-0 Continued to July 19, 2018 On June 21, 2018 the Watertown Licensing Board met to consider the application of Independent Z, Inc. d/b/a East Coast Gas for an inflammables storage license to be exercised at 354 Arsenal Street, for gasoline station storage of gasoline in underground tanks. Mrs. Alberta Zoummar, director, appeared in support of the application. After hearing, the Licensing Board voted unanimously to grant the requested license, for storage of up to 22,000 gallons, including regular and super gasoline, and diesel. Tank capacity, per the application documents, is 14,000 gallons for regular gasoline and 4,000/4,000 gallons for super and diesel. Tatiana Klimova d/b/a Mixstirs 74 Beach Street, Unit 6-1 Woburn, MA 01801 On June 21, 2018 the Watertown Licensing Board met to consider the application of Tatiana Klimova d/b/a Mixstirs for a common victualer license to be exercised at 311 Arsenal Street inside the Boston Sports Club. At that time, Ms. Klimova informed the Board that the abutter hearing notices had not been sent. The Board voted to continue the matter to July 19, 2018 at 7:15 p.m. in the Philip Pane Hearing Room, Administration Building, 149 Main Street, Watertown, MA. Sandra Kasabian Hoffman, Acting Chair
