HomeMy Public PortalAbout067-1995 - REZONING - 1504,1508 AND 1516 SOUTH 9TH STREETORDINANCE 67-1995 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AT 1504, 1508 AND 1516 SOUTH 9TH STREET WHEREAS the zoning map designates real estate at 1504, 1508 and 1516 South 9th Street as M-1 Light Industrial District, and WHEREAS it is desirable to change the zoning designation to C-4 General Business District to accommodate commercial uses rather than industrial uses, NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation of the real estate at 1504, 1508 and 1516 South 9th Street which is Auditor's Map Numbers 50-08-240-113.000-29, 50-08-240-112.000-29 and 50-08-240-110.000-29 be and is hereby changed to C-4 General Business District. Bolt IV, Harvey McCown, Barbara E. McCown, Anthony A. Bledsoe, and John D. Bledsoe are requesting a change to C-4 General Business District to accommodate commercial uses rather than industrial uses. The ordinance should be referred to Plan Commission for public hearing at its meeting on September 26, 1995. The ordinance could be back to Council for second reading on October 2, 1995.
