AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
RICHMOND TO RECEIVE DONATIONS
WHEREAS the City of Richmond, Indiana, has the option of accepting or
rejecting donations for a specific purpose, and
WHEREAS the acceptance of a donation for a specific purpose constitutes the
appropriation of such property for the intended purpose,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the following donations are hereby accepted with the heart -felt gratitude of the
citizens of Richmond:
A. Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie No. 666, a donation of $2,600.00 for the
Police Department K-9 unit.
B . Ted Lyons Realty, a donation of $500.00 for the Human Services Division
of the Mayor's Office for Senior Citizens Taxi Service.
C. Indiana -American Water Company, a donation of $100.00 for the Human
Services Division of the Mayor's Office for Senior Citizens Taxi Service.
D. Carole Maines, a donation of $25.00 for the Human Services Division of
the Mayor's Office for Senior Citizens Taxi Service.
Passed and adopted this 18th day of September, 1995, by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana.
