Comments:
The code enforcement unit issued one violation this week. The violation was issued to the Bal Harbour Square property
for a maintenance and appearance violation, this is a repeat violation.

Comments:
A concerned Bal Harbour resident observed a bicycle owned by City Bike Rentals hidden in the hedges along the north
side of the St. Regis property; a Bal Harbour officer contacted City Bike who confirmed the bike had been missing for
10 days. The officer returned the bicycle to the City Bike Rental rack located on 96 Street and locked it in place.

Movie Night Event
96 Street and the Beach
Comments:
The Bal Harbour Village hosted the Movie Night event located on the beach, approximately 250 persons attended the
event. In an effort to ensure the safety of all attendees, Bal Harbour police officers increased both ATV, golf cart patrols,
and provided pedestrian assistance at the Collins and Harding Avenue crosswalks. No incidents were reported.

Comments:
Bal Harbour Officers were dispatched to a residential burglar alarm activation. Upon the officers arriving, contact was
made with the owner who advised that an intrusion perimeter door was set off. The officers check both the exterior
and interior and did not find any signs of forced entry. The owner contacted the alarm company regarding the false
alarm.

Damage to Property
2 Harbour Way Guard Gate
Comments:
While on routine patrol, a Bal Harbour officer observed the exit gate to Collins Avenue was stuck halfway open. The
on -duty guard advised that a vehicle had bumped the gate earlier and it was now malfunctioning intermittently. The
gate was left in the open position and the on -duty guard contacted TEM for repairs. Officers conducted extra patrols
in the area. TEM responded in the morning and the gate was repaired.

90 Park Drive
Comments:
A concerned citizen called the Bal Harbour Police Department to report that she heard a scream coming from the Bal
Harbour Shops parking lot near the Neiman Marcus parking area. The reporter advised that she heard a person scream
"help". Officers and Shops security arrived shortly after receiving the call and conducted and extensive area canvass
in the parking lot and along Park Drive. After an extensive canvass, no individual in distress was located.

Comments:
A person reported a suspicious male who was possibly looking into beachgoers bags. Officers arrived and located a
male who matched the description. The male was taking photographs of the area and persons on the beach. Officers
conducted a local and nationwide computer search which revealed the subject had no open warrants or hits.
