ORDINANCE NO.500
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING FEES FOR CITY CLEAN-UP DAY
The city council of the city of Medina ordains as follows:
Section 1.
The schedule of fees for collecting the following items and materials
and acquisition of trees from the Annual City Clean-up Day shall be:
Accepted Items:
• Brush No Charge
• Leaves No Charge
• Scrap iron No Charge
• Batteries No Charge
• Anti -freeze No Charge
• Air Conditioners $15 each
• Water softeners $15 each
• Dehumidifiers $10 each
• Appliances $10 each
• Mattress/Box springs $15 each
• Televisions/computers $3-8 each
• Tires — cars $4 each
• Tires — truck — off rim $8 each
• Tires — truck — rim $12 each
• Tires — tractor $20.00 small/$30.00 medium/$40.00 large
• Dumping (i.e. carpet, furniture/building materials) $10 small load
• Dumping — full tied down pick-up truck Up to $30 large load

Section 2. The sale of 55 gallon rain barrels for $70 a rain barrel to Medina residents and $80 to
non -Medina residents.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective upon its adoption and publication.
Adopted by the city council of the city of Medina this 15th day of March, 2011.
