A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AT 1505
SOUTH 9TH STREET
WHEREAS the zoning map designates real estate at 1505 South 9th Street as
C-4 General Business District, and
WHEREAS it is desirable to change the zoning designation to M-1 Light
Industrial District to accommodate construction of a manufacturing
facility,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the zoning designation of the real estate at 1505 South 9th Street, which is
Auditor's Map Number 50-09-130-305.000-29 is hereby changed to M-1 Light Industrial
District.
Passed and adopted this 6th day of November, 1995, by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana.

This ordinance is a rezoning of the former roller-skating rink at 1505 South 9th Street from
C-4 General Business District to M-1 Light Industrial District to accommodate a
manufacturing facility. The property is owned by Howard G. and Winifred K. Kam.
The ordinance should be referred to Plan Commission for public hearing at its meeting on
October 24, 1995.
The ordinance could be back to Council for second reading on November 6, 1995.
