AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
AMENDING SECTIONS 2371, 2368 AND 2702 OF
THE TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO PERSONNEL
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Section 2371 of the Temple City Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
2371. Holidays
All employees shall be entitled to the
following legal holidays each year:
January 1
February (3rd Monday)
March or April - - --
May (last Monday)
July 4
September (1st Monday)
October (4th Monday)
November (4th Thursday)
December 25
New Year's Day
Washington's Birthday
Good Friday - 12.: 15 p.m.. to closing
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Veteran's Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
Any day appointed by the President or Governor
asa public holiday, subject to approval of the City
Council, and any other day designated by the Council,
When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following
Monday will be the official day off; when a holiday
falls on Saturday, .. the preceding Friday will be the
official day off.
SECTION 2. Section 2702 of the Temple City Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
2702. City Offices - Hours..,,
The City offices of the City of Temple City
shall be closed on:
January 1
February (3rd Monday)
March or April - - --
May (last Monday)
July 4
September (1st .Monday)
October (4th Monday)
November (4th Thursday)
December 25
New Year's Day
Washington's Birthday
Good Friday - 12:15 p.in. ; to .c1:os i ng

Said City offices shall be open to the public for
business from 8:30 A.M to 5:00 P.M. on all other
days of the year, excepting, Saturdays and Sundays,
and any other public holiday designated and approved
by the City Council.

Ordinance No. 71-332
SECTION 3. Subsection B of Section 2368 of the Temple
City Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
B. Unused sick leave may be accumulated
up to ninety (90) days.
SECTION 4. Subsection D of Section 2368 of the Temple
City Municipal Code is hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City
shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to.. its ._approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same
to be pub.lished.. in the Temple ...C.ity , T.imes , a newspaper of
general circulation, .printed, published and circulated in
the City of Temple City.
