RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DESIGNATING
AUTHORIZED AGENTS FOR THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF
EMERGENCY SERVICES PRE-DISASTER MITIGATION GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the California Governor's Office of Emergency Service (Cal-OES) has
awarded the City of Lynwood a grant through its Pre-Disaster Mitigation Program; and
WHEREAS, as part of the grant program's award process, recipient agencies are
required to designate by resolution, specific City agents authorized to execute grant
agreements and forms for this grant program on behalf of the City; and
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Lynwood finds and declares that the
foregoing recitals are true and correct, and incorporates said recitals fully into this
Resolution as substantive findings.
Section 2. The City Council authorizes and directs the following staff as
Authorized Agents in priority order:
o City Manager
o Director of Public Works
o Director of Finance
Section 3. This a universal resolution and is in effect for all open and future Cal-
OES grants or disasters up to three (3) years following the date of approval below.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
