ORDINANCE NO. 71 -333
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
CREATING AND ESTABLISHING A COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds and determines that there
is a need for a Redevelopment Agency in the City of Temple City.
SECTION 2. There is hereby created and established - pursuant
to the Community Redevelopment Law of the State of California,
Division 24 of the Health and Safety Code - a Redevelopment
Agency in the City of Temple City, the members of which shall
be the City. Council of the City of Temple City, and whose functions,
duties, powers and responsibilities shall be as set forth in
said Community Redevelopment Law.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City shall
certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and to
its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to be
published in the Temple City Times, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of
Temple City.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of July

I.HEREBY CERTIFY'that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance
No. 71 -333, was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Temple City, held on the 6th day of July
1971, and was duly passed, approved and adopted by said Council,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the 20th day of July 1971,
by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen- Harker, Merritt, Tyrell, Gilbertson
NOES: Councilmen- None
ABSENT: Councilmen- Briggs
