A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE,
FLORIDA; AWARDING CONTRACT TO GRINNELL
CORPORATION, HIALEAH, FLORIDA, FOR FIRE
SPRINKLER SYSTEM INSTALLATION AT EMERGENCY
SERVICES COMPLEX; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village wishes to contract for the installation
of a fire sprinkler system at the Emergency Services Complex; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-82 of the Village Code,
competitive bidding is required for contracts in excess $2,500.00;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-83 of the Village Code, three
sealed bids were solicited; and
WHEREAS, Grinnell Corporation, Hialeah, Florida, submitted the
lowest bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF KEY
BISCAYNE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That a contract be awarded to Grinnell Corporation,
Hialeah, Florida, for the installation of a fire sprinkler system
at the Emergency Services Complex, at a cost not to exceed
$12,130.00.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
adoption.
