#1 VIDEO GAMING
Mr. Kevin McGourty, Tap Room Gaming, will give a presentation regarding video gaming.
#2 143RD STREET EXTENSION
Crawford, Murphy and Tilly (CMT) has been the prime consultant on this project since its inception
several years ago. Since that time, the Village has been moving this project forward and we were
pleased to finally receive IDOT Phase 1 Design Approval last December. In the past, the Village was
able to secure a grant totaling $2.0 million through the Will County Governmental League (WCGL)
and these funds are to be applied to this project as needed. Initially, we planned to utilize $500K for
engineering and the remaining $1.5 million for a portion of the construction costs. However, since the
scope of work has expanded this has increased the anticipated engineering related work required to get
this project shovel ready. The Board should discuss how this grant funding will be utilized.
CMT has provided a draft Engineering Services Agreement that outlines costs for the completion of
the final design drawings, environmental services, soil testing, and property appraisal services.
Representatives from CMT will provide a brief presentation, answer questions, and seek input from
the Board regarding this project.
#3 ADA TRANSITION PLAN
As recommended by the Federal Government, the Village has completed a draft updated document
regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan. This updated plan outlines
activities that the Village plans to continue in the future as we evaluate and improved our sidewalks
and bike paths. Adoption of this plan will also increase our likelihood of receiving grant funding in the
future. Staff will provide a brief presentation and seek input from the Board regarding this draft plan.
