NOW, LET IT BE RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Irondequoit, as authorized by Chapter 381 of the Laws of the State of New York for 2020, does hereby direct the Assessor to develop and utilize procedures by which she may require the filing of renewal applications for exemptions offered pursuant Sections 459-c and 467 of the Real Property Tax Law if she has reason to believe that an owner who qualified for the exemption on the 2020 assessment roll may have since changed his or her primary residence, added another owner to the deed, transferred the property to a new owner, or died.
