Ms. Darcie Grabrisko, Strand Associates, gave a presentation regarding the Lockport Street Bypass
options. Ms. Grabrisko reviewed several alternative alignments that were considered including
Alternates 1A, 1B, 2, 3, 4, and 5. The alternates were then narrowed down to Alternates 1A, 2, and 4.
Mrs. Grabrisko gave an overview of the remaining alternates, highlighting costs and impacts. Mrs.
Grabrisko stated that after reviewing all of the options Strand Associates recommends Alternate 1 A.
Trustee Lamb thanked Mrs. Grabrisko for the detailed study and stated that he supports Alternate 1 A.
Trustee Bonuchi stated that she supports Alternate 1A. Trustee O'Rourke expressed concern
regarding closing the road due to blasting. Trustee Racich pointed out that the project is multiple
years away, and thanked Mrs. Grabrisko for the report.
Administrator Murphy pointed out that Study will be brought to the next Village Board meeting for
consideration and formal adoption.
Trustee Bonuchi read the reminders.
Trustee Lamb moved to adjourn. Seconded by Trustee Wojowski. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0
Opposed.
