EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD
ADOPTING A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF FULL TIME
LIGHT LABORER IN THE BUILDING MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT
At a SPECIAL meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Irondequoit, Monroe County, New
York held at the Town Hall, 1280 Titus Avenue, in said Town of Irondequoit, on the 29th day of
April 2021, at 5:00 P.M. local time: there were
PRESENT:
David Seeley Town Supervisor
Patrina Freeman Town Board Member
John Perticone Town Board Member
Kimie Romeo Town Board Member
Peter Wehner Town Board Member
Harter Secrest & Emery LLP Attorney for the Town
Town Board Member _____________________offered the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
WHEREAS, there is a need to hire a Full-Time Light Laborer in the Building Maintenance
Department; and
WHEREAS, this position was budgeted for in the 2021 Town Budget and posted per Civil
Service Guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has interviewed many qualified applicants and
has chosen to recommend Mike Mitchell for appointment to the vacant position.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board approves the appointment of
Mike Mitchell as a Full Time Light Laborer in the Building Maintenance Department at a rate of
$16.00 per hour from budget account 001.1622.100.1100.
This resolution shall take effect upon date of hire.

WHEREAS, there is a need to hire a full-time laborer in the Town’s Department of Public
Works; and
WHEREAS, this position was budgeted for in the 2021 Town Budget; and
WHEREAS, the position was posted per Civil Service guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has interviewed many qualified applicants and
has chosen to recommend Todd Brozic for appointment to the vacant position.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board approves the appointment of
Todd Brozic as a Full Time Laborer in the Irondequoit Public Works Department at a rate of
$19.76 per hour to be paid from the following budget accounts 50 % from 031.8125.0100.1100,
40% from 031.8121.0100.1100 and 10 % from 024.5142.0100.1100.
This resolution shall take effect upon date of hire.
