Home My Public Portal About013-1992 - GENERAL ORDINANCE PROVIDING PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX DEORDINANCE NO. 13-1992 A GENERAL ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX DEDUCTIONS IN ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION AREAS OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA WHEREAS Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, adopted Resolution No. 10-1984 designating six economic revitalization areas within the City of Richmond, and WHEREAS Common Council also adopted Resolution No. 24-1989 designating a seventh economic revitalization area within the City, and WHEREAS I.C. 6-1.1-12.1-2.5 provides that Common Council may determine whether a property tax deduction under I.C. 6-1.1-12.1-4.5 is allowed for 5 or 10 years, NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that an owner of personal property whose statement of benefits is approved after April 30, 1991, is entitled to a deduction for 5 years pursuant to the authority to make such determinations set forth in I.C. 6-1.1-12.1-2.5.
