AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
CORRECTING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY BY REZONING CERTAIN
PROPERTIES,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds and determines
that the zone changes hereinafter set forth were initiated
by the owners of the properties proposed to be rezoned and
have been processed in the manner and means set forth by
State law and City ordinance and the City Council has duly
considered the recommendations and reports of the Planning
Commission set forth in Resolutions 71 -429 PC and 71 -430 PC
and notwithstanding said recommendations, said zone changes
are hereby deemed to be in the public interest and welfare
for the following reasons:
(1) The sizes and shapes of the properties
are adequate for commercial development;
(2) The proposed change of zone is compatible
with the General Plan of the City.
SECTION 2. The following described property is hereby
rezoned from R-3 to C -2 and the Zoning Map of the City
corrected accordingly:
6404 North Rosemead Boulevard and the two abutting
lots immediately to the north thereof, located
within the City of Temple City and more particu-
larly described as follows:
Parcels 7, 9 and 11, portion of Lot
66, Sunny Slope Vineyard, Subdivision
No. 1, Book 10, Page 112 of Maps in
the Office of the. County Recorder,
County of Los Angeles, State of
California.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and to its approval by the Mayor and shall
cause the same to be publis1 �ed'{in - the Temple City Times, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in the City of Temple City.

meeting . of the City Council of the City of Temple City, held
on the 21st day of December , 1971, and was duly
passed, approved and adopted by said Council, approved and
signed by the Mayor and attested by the .City Clerk at a
regular meeting of the said City Council held on the 4th
day of January , 1971, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen - Briggs, Harker, Tyrell
NOES: Councilman - Merritt
ABSENT: Councilman - Gilbertson
