You’ve gone to yard sales and garage sales; now come to the first Tybee Island Merchant’s and Neighbor’s Sidewalk Sale on January 24, 2009 starting at 8am AND at 10am. Tybee Island merchants and residents invite all to the 1st Island Wide Sidewalk Sale! From the North End of the Island to the South End, there will be sales galore! The warm weather will be here soon, and merchants need to make room for new inventory. Participating shops are offering huge winter savings on a variety of merchandise which will spill out in front of their stores beginning at 10 am. There will be a full array of merchandise available for everyone’s shopping delight! Sales are available on sidewalk displays as well as in the stores. Shoppers will also find a multitude of treasures that residents will be selling at two locations on the island between 8am and 3pm. Residents who have reserved a table will be set up in two locations on the island, located at the parking lot at Island Dentistry (602 1st Street) on the North End or on a portion of the Strand parking lot on the South End.
