Adjournment 0 TOWN OF TIFFIN TIFFIN, IOWA 52340 October 13, 1976 The Tiffin City Council held a regular meeting on October 13, 1976 at 7:30 P.M. in City Hall. Mayor Brotherton presiding. Councilmembers present; Morgan, Potter, and Formanek, Absent; Janssen and Stratton. Also present; Atty. Neuzil, Howard Powell and Tim Wolfe. Open forum was hallowed by roll call at 7:45 P.M. Potter moved to approve the minutes from the September 8th regular meeting. Morgan seconded and motion carried unanimously. Morgan moved to accept the Clerk-Treas. financial report. Potter seconded and motion carried unanimously. Contract bids for garbage removal service were received and read at 8:00 P.M. The bids were from Kennth Hunter $1800.00 per month; Ralph Schuur, $425.00 per month; 'dim Wolfe, 4263.00 per month; and Powell Hauling Service, $225.00 per month. Potter moved to accept the low bid of $225.00 per month from Powell Hauling Service and proceed with contract arrangements. Morgan seconded and motion carried unanimously. Formanek moved to accept the lease agreement with the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad Co., subject to approval by the City Attorney. Potter seconded and motion carried unanimously. Potter moved to accept the following receipts and pay the following bills. Formanek seconded and motion carried unanimously. Bills: Iowa Electric Light & Power Co. Iowa -Illinois Gas & Electric Co. General Telephone Company Johnson County Treasurer, Sheriff Dept. Iowa City Landfill Beverly Birtcher Ralph Brown First National Bank Fisher Scientific Co. Water Quality Management,Tnc.
