Bal Harbour Police Department that I requested in order to enhance the flow of
communication and transparency.

Weekly Code Enforcement Efforts
The code enforcement unit issued four warnings within the gated community this week. The first warning was issued
to a residential property for appearance issues. The second warning was issued to a vacant lot for the appearance of
the landscaping. The final two warnings were issued to residential properties for leaving bulk waste out several days
prior to the scheduled pick-up day of Thursday.

The Criminal Investigations unit is currently conducting an identity theft/fraud investigation, during the course of the
investigation, detectives have identified two potential suspects and are compiling additional evidence to secure an
arrest.

COMMENTS
A Bal Harbour Shops security officers flagged down a Bal Harbour police officer regarding a person who was
preparing a Cannabis Cigarette on the shop's property. The Bal Harbour officer located the person with the
contraband and placed the individual into custody. The individual was arrested and released on a (PTA) promise to
appear in court.

Missing Child and Recovery

COMMENTS
The Bal Harbour police department received a call regarding a missing 8 year old male who separated from his family
while visiting the Bal Harbour Beach. Bal Harbour officers arrived and coordinated a strategic search of the area and
requested air support from Miami -Dade Police and the surrounding police agencies. Prior to the search, the child was
located by a family member and reunited with the parents.

COMMENTS
In anticipation for the increase in vehicular and pedestrian traffic during the holiday season, the Bal Harbour Police
Department devised a traffic management plan to address the volume of vehicles traversing the Collins Avenue
corridor. Bal Harbour officers were deployed at key intersections along the Collins Avenue corridor to mitigate in
traffic related issues.

COMMENTS
Bal Harbour police were summoned to the Bellini Condominiums regarding a suspicious male in the lobby, prior to
the officers' arrival, Bellini personnel advised the male left the property. Bal Harbour officers conducted an area
canvass, however the male was not located. No injuries or damages were reported.

COMMENTS
Bal Harbour police received an anonymous call regarding an odor of marijuana on the six floor of the Bellini
condominiums. Bal Harbour officers responded and conducted a thorough check of the area, however, the officers
did not detect any odor of marijuana emanating from the sixth floor or the adjacent areas.
