Home My Public Portal About029-1992- SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING NO 36-1991 AS THE 1992 SALORDINANCE NO, 29-1992 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 36-1991, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS THE 1992 SALARY ORDINANCE, AND ORDINANCE NO. 2-1992, AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1992 SALARY ORDINANCE WHEREAS the Department of Administration was created by Ordinance No. 1-1992 and has been designated by the Mayor as administrator of city housing programs as distinguished from the federal housing programs administered by the Richmond Housing Authority, and WHEREAS the existing housing programs of the city are loan programs for historic restoration, rehabilitation, and the conversion of an owner's equity to cash, all of which pertain to existing houses, and WHEREAS the Infill Housing Program proposes to actually construct new houses, and WHEREAS there is no staff position in the Department of Administration to execute and accomplish the objectives of the Infill Housing Program and other housing programs, and WHEREAS it is desirable to delete a position in the Department of Law and add a position in the Department of Planning & Redevelopment, NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that Ordinance No. 2-1992 be amended as follows: Add to_Section 18 - Department of Administration 18.09 Housing Co-ordinator PAT H $20,300.00 Delete from Section 5 - Department of Law 5.05 Housing Insp./Wts. & Measures PAT II $25,171.00 Add to Section 9 - Department of Planning & Redevelopment 9.04 Planning Administrator PAT 11 $25,171.00 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May, 1992, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
