AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY AMENDING:.SECTIONS 332& AND 3332
OF THE TEMPLE = -CITY MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ALL - NIGHT PARKING .PERMITS
THE CITY. COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Sections 3326 and 3332 of the Temple
City Municipal Code are hereby amended to read as follows:
3326. Application and Renewal .Fees.
The investigation and permit fee required by
Section 3325 shall be as follows: .Twelve dollars
for the investigation and for •permit permitting
parking for any calendar year or portion thereof,
provided, however, that the fee shall be ten.dol-
lars fora permit issued from April 1 to June 30,
eight dollars for a permit issued from July 1 to
Sdptember 30,.and six dollars fora permit issued
on or after October 1 of any calendar year. The
renewal fee shall be twelve dollars for each addi-
tional calendar year or portion thereof. All
applications for renewal of an all -night parking
permit for a second or subsequent calendar year
shall be reinvestigated prior to issuance of the
permit and a renewal permit shall be issued only
if it is established that adequate off- street
parking is still unobtainable and that the .appli-
cant has made reasonable efforts to obtain off -
street parking during the calendar year immediately
prior to that in which the application for re-
newal.of the all-night parking permit is made.
3332. .Temporary Permits.
The City Manager is authorized to issue
temporary permits fora period of not to exceed
30 days upon his sound discretion as to the
reasonable necessity therefor.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk of the City of Temple
City shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordi-
nance and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the
same to be published in the Temple City Times, a news-
paper of general circulation, printed, published and cir-
culated in the. City of Temple City.
