AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FIXING THE ANNUAL COMPENSATION
OF ALL ELECTED CITY OFFICERS FOR 1993
WHEREAS Indiana Code 34-4-7-2 requires Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, to fix the annual compensation of all elected city officers by ordinance, and
WHEREAS this ordinance has been published two times in the Palladium -Item newspaper,
Richmond, Indiana, with the first such publication taking place Friday, July 3,
1992, and the second such publication taking place Friday, July 10, 1992, and
WHEREAS such first publication took place 30 days before final passage hereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that annual compensation for 1993 of the Mayor be $48,960, the City Clerk be $36,574.00, the
President of Common Council be $4,661.00 and the 8 members of Common Council other than
the President be $4,403.00 each for total compensation to the city`s elected officers during 1993 of
$125,419.00.
Passed and adopted this �_ day of1992, by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana.
