MINUTES OF THE PLAINFIELD POLICE PENSION BOARD
MEETING ON JANUARY 8, 2015

CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by Pres. J. Cook at 6:30 P.M
ROLL CALL: Present: Pres. J. Cook, Trustees M. Fisher, S. Cousins
Absent: Sec. R. Meszaros and Trustee A. Grod
Guests Present: Tom Sawyer, John Falduto of Sawyer-Falduto Asset Mgmt
LLC, and Derek Flessner of Lauterbach&Amen LLP
Members Present: None
Approval of Minutes:
A motion was made by Trustee S. Cousins to approve the minutes of the October 9, 2014
meeting as presented. Seconded by Trustee Fisher. Voice vote taken. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Pres. J. Cook to approve the minutes of the Special Meeting on
October 20, 2014 as presented. Seconded by Trustee M. Fisher. Voice vote taken. Motion
carried.
Public Comment: None
Financial Reports:
A motion was made by Pres. J. Cook and seconded by Trustee S. Cousins to approve the
monthly financial reports through November 2014 as presented by Lauterbach&Amen. Roll
call vote: J. Cook-yes, M. Fisher-yes, S. Cousins-yes. Motion carried.
The complete report will be on file in the pension office for review.

Unfinished Business: None
New Business:
Tom Sawyer presented the Investment Performance Report for the 4th Quarter 2014. After
some discussion a motion was made by Pres. J. Cook and seconded by Trustee M. Fisher.
Roll call vote: J. Cook-yes, M. Fisher-yes, S. Cousins-yes. Motion carried.
The complete report will be on file in the pension office for review.
There are no changes to the current Investment Policy at this time.
There will be two elections on April 20, 2015. The retirees will vote for a Board
representative and the active officers will vote for a trustee. Andy Grod and Mike Fisher are
both seeking re-election. New terms begin on May 12, 2015.
Officers J. Cook, R. Meszaros and M. Fisher have all completed their Continued Education
courses.
Attorney Report:
Mr. Rick Reimer presented and distributed some legal and legislative updates that have
happened since our last meeting. Also, currently there are no closed session minutes to be
released.

Adjournment:
With no further business a motion was made by Pres. J. Cook and seconded by Trustee S.
Cousins to adjourn. Voice vote taken. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
