• The Tiffin City Council met in regular sessic at 7:30 p.m.
on April 14, 1976 at City Hall. Mayor Bro herton presiding.
Councilme_mbers present: Morgan, Stratton, Formanek and Janssen.
Absent: Potter. Also present: Tom Mittman, Robert and Shirley
71r,ompson, and Richard Sheridan.
Morgan moved to a Drove the March loth regular meeting
minutes. Formanek seconded and motion carried unanimously.
Formanek moved to approve and accept the Clerk -Treasurer's
financial reports. Janssen seconded and motion carried unani-
mously.
A motion_ to hear Ve final reading of ordinance 7t73 estab-
lishing rates for service, charges for the collection of garbage
and providing for the collection of g,rrbage within the City of
Tiffin by contract with one or more private collectors was made
by Forgan. Janssen secorded and motion carried unanimously.
Janssen moved to adopt said ordinance #73, and post in. Flansburo
Hardware, Slim's Tavern and Frank' s Service, Inc. aka Tom's
Skelly Service, Inc. for 30 days before letting the bids.
Stratton seconded and motion carried unanimously.
Formanek moved to approve an application for a Class "Crr
Liquor Beer license submitted by Robert and Shirley Thompson,
Meadow Lark, R.R. #5, Iowa City, Iowa,, for the Lark Supper Club,
131 Marengo Road, Highway A. Tiffin, Iowa. Janssen seconded
and motion carried unanimously. Morgan moved to approve a cigar-
ette permit application submitted by Shirley and Robert Thompson
for the Lark Supper Club. Formanek seconded and motion carried
unanimously.
Formanek moved to grant a garage building permit to Richard
Sheridan. Stratton seconded and motion carried unanimously.
Morgan moved to grant a garage building permit to Roger Formanek
upon submitting a plot plan and fee. Janssen seconded. Ayes:
Stratton, Janssen and Morgan. Abstain: Formanek. Motion carried.
Janssen moved to pay all bills except 057.00 to Dunton-
Lanik, Inc. and accept receipts, following.
