Subject: Island Chiefs' Dinner
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to inform you that the island municipalities
which include the police departments of Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor, Surfside, Indian Creek
and North Bay Village will be hosting the February Miami Dade Association of Chiefs of
Police dinner on February 27th, 2018 at the Indian Creek Country Club. There shall be a
reception commencing at 6:30 P.M. and dinner commencing at 7:30 P.M. During the
dinner the association recognizes the officer of the month from letters of commendation
submitted by all police agencies in Miami -Dade County. Captain Flowers, who is also the
President of the Association, has extended an invitation to the event for our Mayor and
members of the Village Council
If you will be in attendance, please notify my office so that proper arrangements can be
made.
