AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
EXTENDING INTERIM ORDINANCE NO. 71 -340
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to provisions of Section 65858 of the
Government Code of the State of California, and following a
public hearing held with respect thereto in the manner provided
by law, Ordinance No. 71-340, relating to an interm ordinance
imposing a moratorium on building and occupancy permits in the
area westerly of Rosemead Boulevard, south of Elm Street and
along the westerly City boundary, known as the Rosemead Boulevard
Redevelopment Project Area No. 1, is hereby extended from its
present expiration date to and including the 15th day of
February, 1973.
SECTION 2, The City Clerk of the City of Temple City shall
certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance as an
urgency ordinance and to its approval by theMayor and shall
cause the same to be published in the Temple City Times, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in the City of Temple City.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of February, 1972.

I HEREBY CERT -IFY that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance
No. 72 -343, . was introduced as an urgency ordinance at a regular
meeting of theCity Council of the City of Temple City, held on the
15th day of February, 1972, and was duly passed, approved and
adopted by said Council, approved and signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen- Briggs, Harker, Merritt, Tyrell, Gilbertson
NOES: Councilmen- None
ABSENT: Councilmen- None
