Public Notice
The city council of the city of
Medina has adopted Ordinance
No. 570. The ordinance establishes
a high water level on Lake Inde-
pendence (957.8' above sea level)
which, if reached for a period of
three consecutive days, will result
in the cities of Medina and Indepen-
dence establishing a slow no -wake
zone on the entire lake. When high
water restrictions are in effect, no
person may operate a water craft in
excess of slow no -wake speed. The
city of Independence has adopted
a similar ordinance to allow regula-
tion of the entire lake. The full text
of Ordinance No. 570 is available for
inspection at Medina city hall during
regular business hours.
