AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA, ADOPTING
THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA COVERING ALL ACTS THAT ARE
RECOGNIZED AS MISDEMEANORS BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF
FLORIDA.
Whereas, the Town of Gulf Stream contains in its
boundaries a stretch of State Road AlA, and has considerable
traffic thereon, and whereas the Town of Gulf Stream is
desirous of furnishing its officials and appointees all legal
means possible to control activities within the Town of
Gulf Stream; IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION
OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA, in session assembled
the 1_ day of May, 1961, as follows:
It shall be unlawful for any person to commit,
within the corporate limits of the town, any act
which is or shall be recognized by the laws of the
State as a misdemeanor, and the commission of such
acts is hereby forbidden.
Whosoever shall violate the provisions of this
ordinance upon conviction thereof, shall be punished
by the same penalty as is therefor provided by the
laws of the State, but in no case °shall such penalty
exceed a fine of one hundred dollars, or an imprison-
ment for more than one month, or both such fine
and imprisonment in the discretion of the municipal
judge.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and proper posting according to the charter act of
the Town.
