Subject: Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce First Responders Hero's Breakfast
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to inform you that the Miami Beach Chamber
of Commerce will be honoring Bal Harbour Officer William "Wil" Myers at their annual First
Responders Pillar Hero's Breakfast on Friday, March 30, 2018 beginning at 8:00 am.
During the ceremony, Officer Myers will receive an award for his life saving actions on
November 26, 2017 when he deployed his AED and stabilized an elderly male who was in
full cardiac arrest. The breakfast ceremony will be at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, 1601
Collins Avenue in Miami Beach.
The police department is extending an invitation to the event for our Mayor and members
of the Village Council.
