EXTRACT OF THE MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD
ADOPTING A RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO
A CONTRACT FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES WITH
IRONDEQUOIT AMBULANCE
At a Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Irondequoit, Monroe County,
New York held at the Town Hall, 1280 Titus Avenue, in said Town of Irondequoit, on
the 20th day of January 2023, at 1:00 P.M. local time; there were

Town Board Member ________________________ offered the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, the Town desires to enter into a contract for emergency medical services
within the Town of Irondequoit; and
WHEREAS, on October 14, 2022, the Town issued a Request For Proposals for
Emergency Medical Services pursuant to Town Code Section 51-10, (the “RFP”); and
WHEREAS, the Town received two responses to the RFP; and
WHEREAS, the Town constituted a selection committee to review the responses to the
RFP, which included the Town Supervisor, one Town Board Member, the Comptroller,
and the Attorney for the Town; and
WHEREAS, the selection committee reviewed all the responses, provided additional
clarification of the RFP, held interviews with the entities that responded to the RFP, and
received additional information from the responders after the interviews; and
WHEREAS, the selection committee recommends that the Town Board select Irondequoit
Ambulance to provide emergency medical services in the portions of the Town covering
the Irondequoit Fire District and the Point Pleasant Fire District, and to provide primary
advanced life support services to the Seabreeze Fire District; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board selects Irondequoit
Ambulance to provide emergency medical services within the identified areas of the
Town on the following terms: one-year contract; payment of $60 per call dispatch;
payment for standby advanced life support services at $150.00 per hour; payment for
standby basic life support services at $125.00 per hour; and a limit on total payments of
$300,000 during the contract term;
AND, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Supervisor is hereby
authorized to execute an agreement with Irondequoit Ambulance for the services
described herein on the terms described herein, along with any and all documents
necessary to enter into such agreement, in such form as approved by the Attorney for the
Town.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.

ADOPTING A RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO

MONROE AMBULANCE
At a Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Irondequoit, Monroe County,
New York held at the Town Hall, 1280 Titus Avenue, in said Town of Irondequoit, on

Town Board Member ________________________ offered the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, the Town desires to enter into a contract for emergency medical services
within the Town of Irondequoit; and

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board selects Monroe
Ambulance to provide emergency medical services within the identified areas of the
Town on the following terms: one-year contract; payment of $60 per call dispatch;
standby advanced life support services at $150.00 per hour; standby basic life support
services at $125.00 per hour; and a limit on total payments of $100,000 during the
contract term;
AND, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Supervisor is hereby
authorized to execute an agreement with Irondequoit Ambulance for the services
described herein on the terms described herein, along with any and all documents
necessary to enter into such agreement, in such form as approved by the Attorney for the
Town.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
