AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
RICHMOND TO RECEIVE A DONATION FROM CHUCK WELLINGS
WHEREAS the City of Richmond, Indiana, has the option of accepting or rejecting donations
for a specific purpose, and
WHEREAS the acceptance of a donation for a specific purpose constitutes the appropriation of
such property for the intended purpose,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the donation of a 1985 Toyota Van having a value of $8,500 for the use of the Fire
Department Arson Investigation Unit is hereby gratefully accepted as the generous gift of
Wellings Pontiac, Inc., and Charles A. "Chuck" Wellings, Jr., President and owner of Wellings
Pontiac, Mazda, Toyota and Mitsubishi is hereby acknowledged with the heart -felt gratitude of the
citizens of Richmond.
Passed and adopted this 17th day of August, 1992, by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana.
