Weidner, requesting a special use to permit a motor vehicle service station in the C-2 zoning district under article 31.031 of the Zoning Ordinance at 2105 West National Road ( formerly Frisch's Resturant). Six (6) letters were sent to adjoining property owners and one was returned in opposition to the request. The plan staff recommended approval of the request noting that the agents have worked closely with the Police, Fire, and Engineering Departments of the city to ensure the safest possible development of the site from the standpoint of traffic, fire safety, enviromental and storm drainage control. The Commission voted 8 to 2 to recommend approval of the request on the condition that the site plan be modified to provide a green buffer along the South property line at least 4 feet high and that plantings not more than 2 feet high be added to the eastern and western most islands fronting on National Road West. Also the amended site plan was to be marked exhibit "A" and made a part of Ordinance #57-1992. rR7tfully submitted, Robert B.
