AN ORDINANCE
REPEALING ADOPTION
OF MINNESOTA RULES
CHAPTER 1306
The City Council of the City of
Medina ordains as follows:
SECTION I. Section 805.11 of
the code of ordinances of the city of
Medina is amended by adding the
underlined language and deleting
the 3trickcn language as follows:
Section 805.11. Building Code
Optional Chapters.
Subd. 1. The Minnesota State
Building Code allows a city to adopt
by reference and enforce certain
optional chapters of the most cur-
rent edition of the Minnesota State
Building Code.
Subd. 2. The following optional
chapters identified in the most
current edition of the State Build-
ing Code and Minnesota Rules are
hereby adopted and incorporated
as part of the Medina building code:
(a) Chaptcr 1306, Spcciul Fire
Protection Systems, as amended
Icction of 1306.0020, Subp. 3 RE-
SERVED
(b) Chapter 1335, Flood Proof-
ing Regulations, parts 1335.0600 to
1335.1200.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall
become effective upon its adoption
and publication.
Adopted by the Medina city
council this 5th day of May, 2015.
