HomeMy Public PortalAbout060-1992 - ZONING - 635-645 SOUTH E STREETORDINANCE NO. 60-1992 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AT 635-645 SOUTH E STREET WHEREAS the zoning map designates 635, 637, 641, 643 and 645 South E Street in the City of Richmond, Indiana as R-3 One to Eight Family Residence District, and WHEREAS it is desirable to change the zoning designation. to C-1 Limited Commercial District to accommodate a leather goods store and other commercial users, NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation of that part of out lot 14 in C. Schwegman's Addition to the City of Richmond located at the southwest corner of the intersection of South 7th and South E Streets, bounded on the south by a 12 foot alley and on the west by a 15 foot alley, generally known as 635, 637, 641, 643 and 645 South E Street, be and is hereby changed to C-1 Limited Commercial District. Black, Jackie Black, Phyllis J. Gausepohl and Barbara J. Fratis, owner, requesting a rezoning from R-3 multi family to C-1 Neighborhood business to permit a leather goods store to be established. Presentations , for and against the petition, were made during the Public Hearing .
