AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 69 -291, DELETING SECTION 13.30(c)
OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY FIRE CODE, AND ADDING NEW
SECTION 3100.4 TO THE TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 69 -291, adopting Los Angeles County
Ordinance No. 2947, as amended, is hereby amended.
SECTION 2. There shall hereby be deleted from Los Angeles
County Ordinance No. 2947, Section 13.30 (c) reading as follows;
"All premises where buildings or portions of buildings
other than dwellings are hereafter constructed and
located more than 150 feet from a public street pro-
viding access to such premises shall be provided as may
be requi red by the Chief with approved fire hydrants
connected to a water system capable of supplying the
fire flow required by the Chief. The location of such
hydrants shall be as designated by the Chief. Paved
access to fire hydrants shall be provided and maintained
to accommodate fire fighting apparatus."
SECTION 3. Section 3100.4 is hereby added to the Temple City
Municipal Code, adding new section 13.30(c) to Ordinance No.. 2947,
reading as follows:

other than single family or duplex dwellings are hereafter
constructed shall be provided an may be required by the •

designated by the Chief. Paved access to fire hydrants
shall be provided and maintained to accommodate fire
fighting apparatus."
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause
the same to be published in the Temple City Times, a newspaper
of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the
City of Temple City.
