A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE,
FLORIDA; RECOGNIZING JANE YARNELL FOR HER MANY
YEARS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on July 4, 1954, Jane Yarnell and her husband, Ed,
moved to Key Biscayne; and
WHEREAS, in 1967, Jane Yarnell went to work for the Key
Biscayne Chamber of Commerce as the organization's secretary; and
WHEREAS, Jane Yarnell's service to the chamber of commerce
included a prominent role in the organization of Key Biscayne's
annual 4th of July parade; and
WHEREAS, among her many duties, Jane Yarnell has also handled
the ticket sales and coordinated logistics for many other chamber
of commerce and community events; and
WHEREAS, On July 28, 1994, Jane Yarnell retired;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF KEY
BISCAYNE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Village Council hereby recognizes Jane
Yarnell for her many years of service to the Key Biscayne community.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of September , 1994.
