RESOLUTION NO. 2000-60
A RESOLUTION OF THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL
ADOPTING TOWN INVESTMENT POLICY
WHEREAS, the Town Council has the final authority to invest surplus funds pursuant to
Government Code Section 53601; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council may delegate its investment authority to the Town
Treasurer and explicitly provide what investments the Town Treasurer is or is not allowed to
make in an annual investment policy; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to so delegate and adopt an Investment Policy for
the 2000-2001 fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL
as follo~vs:
1. The Town Treasurer is hereby appointed to carry out the Investment Policy that is on
file in the Town Clerk's Office.
2. The Town Treasurer shall submit a report to the Town Council of any and all
investment transactions pursuant to Section 53607 of the Government Code.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced at a Regular Meeting of the Truckee Town
Council, held on the 16th day of November, 2000, by Councilmember Drake, who moved its
adoption, and which motion was duly seconded by Councilmember Florian, was upon roll call
carried and the Resolution adopted by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Drake, Florian, Susman and Mayor Schneider.
NOES: None
ABSENT:
Vice Mayor McCormack.
